Sakani Program Intelligence

The Sakani platform is the primary digital gateway through which Saudi families access government housing support under Vision 2030. Launched in 2017 by the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, Sakani has grown to serve over 4.6 million registered users, facilitating more than 106,000 housing contracts during the first half of 2025 alone. In 2024, over 117,000 Saudi families benefited from Sakani solutions and options, with 93,000 families moving into their homes — a nine percent increase over 2023.

Sakani coordinates multiple subsidy instruments including REDF monthly profit coverage on up to SAR 500,000 in financed amounts, non-refundable immediate grants of SAR 100,000 to SAR 150,000, VAT exemption for first-time buyers, and a reduced five percent down payment for beneficiaries purchasing properties valued at SAR 800,000 or less. The support rate ranges from 35 percent to 100 percent of financing profits, with those earning SAR 14,000 or less monthly receiving full 100 percent coverage regardless of family size.

Our Sakani coverage includes deep dives into eligibility requirements, subsidy calculation mechanics, the Dhamanat guarantee programme, REDF financing pathways, and developmental housing initiatives.
