National Housing Company Intelligence
The National Housing Company (NHC) is the institutional engine of Saudi Arabia’s housing supply strategy. Established in 2016 as the investment arm of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, NHC underwent ownership transfer to the state in 2020 and rebranded in November 2024. The company has since become the Kingdom’s dominant residential developer, commanding 62 percent market share in off-plan projects.
NHC’s financial trajectory is remarkable. The company posted record revenue of SAR 26 billion in 2024 — exceeding the combined revenues of 2022 and 2023 — and has publicly committed to doubling that figure in 2025. With over 39 major projects spanning 25 urban destinations across 17 cities, NHC has facilitated the move-in of more than 60,000 families and sold over 134,000 units to date. In 2025, NHC launched more than 134,000 new housing units valued at over SAR 100 billion and announced SAR 60 billion in housing and commercial investment opportunities for 2026.
